IVG makes a lot of nic salts, so the names of its ranges can be confusing at first. The IVG nic salt lineup splits into three main families: the original Nic Salts of classic sweet and fruit blends, the Bar Favourites that recreate disposable tastes, plus the newer Intense Salts that crank up flavour concentration. This guide explains what sits in each range and who it suits, so you can find your way around the lineup with confidence.

If you are new to the brand, our guide on what IVG stands for covers the background. Our IVG nic salts review rates the range overall.

The three ranges at a glance

Before diving in, it helps to see how the families differ. Each shares the same 50/50 nic salt format for pod kits, though they vary in flavour style and intensity.

The original IVG Nic Salts

This is the range that built IVG's reputation in salts. It is full of classic, characterful blends that lean into sweet shop nostalgia, vibrant fruit and fizzy notes, with long standing favourites like Blue Raspberry, Bubblegum, Rainbow Blast and Kiwi Lemon Cool. These flavours are bold and accurate, recreating familiar tastes rather than chasing novelty, which is why they earned a loyal following. If you enjoy a sweet, recognisable everyday vape with a touch of fun, the original Nic Salts are a great place to start, with many of them remaining among IVG's best sellers.

The Bar Favourites range

Bar Favourites exists for one clear purpose, which is to recreate the bold, sweet flavours people loved in disposable vapes. With the single use ban, many vapers wanted those exact tastes in a refillable form, which this range delivers, with blends like Blue Razz Lemonade, Blue Slush and Blackcurrant Mango. The profiles are designed to mirror the punchy, iced, fruity character of bar style devices, so they are ideal for anyone switching off disposables who wants no adjustment period. If your goal is to replace an old disposable flavour, Bar Favourites is the range to browse first.

To see all three families together, the IVG Nic Salts collection brings the whole lineup into one place and lets you mix and match across the multi buy deals.

The IVG Intense Salts range

Intense Salts is IVG's modern flagship and the range that most people gravitate to today. As the name suggests, it takes the brand's flavours and boosts their concentration for a more pronounced, longer lasting taste, without making them sickly. With well over 30 options spanning fruit, ice, candy fusion and dessert profiles, it is one of the most diverse nic salt ranges in the UK. Popular picks include Watermelon Ice, Blue Raspberry, Retro Orange and Sour Green Apple. If you want the boldest, most impactful version of an IVG flavour, Intense is where to look.

Understanding the flavour categories

Across all three ranges, IVG covers the main flavour categories you would expect. There are bright fruit blends built on berries, tropical fruits and zesty citrus, which tend to be the most popular for all day vaping. There are ice and menthol options that add a crisp, cooling finish, often chosen by former disposable users. There are dessert and candy style flavours for richer, sweeter, more indulgent sessions, plus a few classic and tobacco style profiles for traditional tastes. Whatever you enjoy, there is a category in the IVG lineup that fits.

Which range should you choose?

Picking a range comes down to what you are after. If you love nostalgic sweets and fizzy classics, start with the original Nic Salts. If you are moving off a disposable and want that exact taste, head to Bar Favourites. If you simply want the boldest, most intense version of IVG flavour, the Intense Salts range is the modern default and the one most vapers reach for. Because they all share the same 50/50 format and 10mg or 20mg strengths, you can mix across ranges freely, so trying one from each on a multi buy is a smart way to find your favourite.

How the ranges have evolved

It is worth understanding how IVG arrived at three ranges, because it explains why some flavours appear in more than one place. The original Nic Salts came first and built the brand's salt reputation on nostalgic sweet and fruit blends. The Bar Favourites range then arrived to meet the surge of demand from disposable users who wanted those exact bar style tastes in a refillable bottle. More recently the Intense Salts range was developed to modernise the lineup, boosting flavour concentration and adding icy and candy fusion profiles to match the most popular disposable tastes. The result is that a flavour like Blue Raspberry can show up across ranges, tuned slightly differently in each. Our guide to the IVG Bar Favourites range goes deeper on the disposable replicas.

For most shoppers this evolution is good news, since it means there is usually a version of any popular flavour to suit your taste and your mood. If you want the classic, slightly gentler take, the original salts deliver it. If you want the punchiest, most concentrated version, Intense is the answer. And if you are chasing a specific disposable memory, Bar Favourites is built for exactly that. Because the multi buy deals let you mix across all three, the smartest approach is to grab a couple from different ranges and compare. The bottom line

IVG's nic salt lineup is really three ranges with different jobs: the original Nic Salts for classic sweet and fruit blends, Bar Favourites for disposable style replicas or Intense Salts for the boldest, most concentrated flavour. All share the same smooth 50/50 format for pod kits in 10mg and 20mg, so the choice is purely about flavour style. Knowing how the families differ makes navigating the range simple, so you can go straight to the one that suits your taste.
