This collection lists 86 complete vape kits. A kit is the version of a device that ships ready to use, meaning a battery section, a tank or pod and at least one coil in the same box. You add e-liquid and charge it. Kits here start at £4.99 for a pen style device and reach the high thirties for a 100W dual cell platform.
The range spans three tiers. Refillable pen and pod kits sit at the entry point for adults moving away from cigarettes. Mid range AIO and pod mod kits add adjustable airflow and variable wattage. High output kits with removable cells sit at the top. Innokin, Sigelei, Geek Vape, Smok and Ijoy are the manufacturers represented most heavily.

Matching the kit to how you want to vape
Mouth to lung
MTL means drawing vapour into the mouth first, then inhaling. The airflow is tight and the sensation is close to a cigarette, which makes it the default recommendation for adult smokers making the switch. MTL kits run low wattage, use coils above 1.0 ohm and sip liquid slowly. A pen or compact pod kit is the natural choice.
Direct to lung
DTL means inhaling straight into the lungs in one motion, the way you would breathe through a straw. Airflow is wide open, coils drop below 1.0 ohm and wattage climbs. Vapour output is far greater. So is e-liquid consumption, which is why DTL vapers use high VG shortfills at 3mg or 6mg. Sub ohm kits and box mod kits belong to this group.
Restricted direct to lung
RDL sits between the two. The draw is looser than MTL but still restricted, typically at 15W to 30W with coils around 0.6 to 0.8 ohm. Many pod mod kits cover MTL and RDL on one device through an adjustable airflow ring, which is the most flexible option if you are still working out what you prefer.
Batteries, wattage and charging
Internal batteries are measured in mAh. A 1000mAh to 1500mAh cell in an MTL pod kit gets most people through a day. A 50W device wants 2000mAh or more. High wattage kits either use a large internal cell or take removable 18650 or 21700 batteries. Removable cells are the practical choice if you vape heavily, because a charged spare takes seconds to swap.
USB-C is now standard and charges faster than the micro USB it replaced. Wattage here runs from fixed low output pens up to 200W regulated mods. Be realistic about the ceiling. Very few coils are designed to run above 80W, so a 200W mod is bought for headroom rather than for the top of its range.
Coil availability is the decision that matters
The device is a one off purchase. Coils are the recurring one. Before committing, check that the coil family is widely stocked and reasonably priced, because a discontinued coil strands an otherwise good device. Well supported families such as Geek Vape B Series, Innokin Z Coils and Smok Nord coils appear across several devices, so one pack can serve more than one kit.
Matching e-liquid to the coil
Coil resistance dictates the liquid rather than the other way round. Above 1.0 ohm you want a 50/50 PG to VG blend, which in the UK means a 10ml bottle of freebase or nicotine salt at up to 20mg per ml. Below 1.0 ohm you need a high VG shortfill at 70/30 or thicker, run at 0mg to 6mg. Nicotine e-liquid is capped at 20mg per ml, nicotine bottles at 10ml and tanks supplied with nicotine liquid at 2ml. Shortfills sidestep the bottle limit by arriving nicotine free with room for a shot.
What a kit actually costs to run
Take a mid range pod kit at around £20. Two coils a month plus a 10ml bottle every few days is where the real spend sits. Sub ohm setups cost more because they get through liquid several times faster. If budget is the priority, an MTL kit with cheap coils is the cheaper long term choice.
Buying vape kits in the UK
Vaping products are sold to adults aged 18 and over only and every order is age checked before dispatch. Which vape kit is best for someone stopping smoking?

The draw is tight and familiar, the wattage is fixed so there is nothing to configure and the coils are inexpensive. Look for a battery of at least 1000mAh, USB-C charging and a coil family that is easy to reorder.
What does sub ohm mean?
Sub ohm describes a coil with a resistance below 1.0 ohm. Lower resistance draws more current, which produces more heat and therefore more vapour. Sub ohm coils run with open airflow on a direct to lung draw and need a high VG shortfill at a low nicotine strength.
Do I need a 200W mod?
Almost certainly not. Very few coils sold today are rated above 80W, so a 200W mod is bought for battery headroom and dual cell runtime rather than for its maximum output. Running a mod well below its ceiling is easier on the chipset. Buy the wattage your coils actually call for.
How often do I need to replace the coil?
One to two weeks is typical. Sweet dessert and candy liquids contain sucralose that caramelises onto the coil and can halve that, while fruit and menthol blends are much kinder. The signs are a dull or burnt taste, less vapour and a harsher draw. Priming a new coil and letting it stand for five minutes before the first puff makes a real difference.
Can I use a 10ml nic salt in a sub ohm kit?
It is not a good idea. Nicotine salts are sold at 10mg to 20mg because they are made for low power devices. A sub ohm coil vaporises far more liquid per puff, so that strength becomes unpleasantly harsh. Sub ohm kits want a high VG shortfill at 0mg to 6mg instead. The thicker liquid also wicks correctly through a sub ohm coil.
What is the difference between an internal battery and removable cells?
An internal battery is sealed inside the device and charged over USB-C. It is simpler and there is nothing extra to buy. Removable 18650 or 21700 cells are swapped out by hand, so you can carry a charged spare and keep vaping instead of waiting. Removable cells need a dedicated external charger and careful handling in a battery case.
