CBD
CBD is short for cannabidiol, one of the compounds found in the hemp plant. This collection brings together 72 CBD products stocked at Vapestore Direct, covering CBD e-liquids, pre-filled CBD pods and pod kits, oral tinctures, edibles and body products. The range is organised by format first, because how a product is used decides almost everything else about it.
We do not make medical claims about CBD. UK rules do not permit CBD products sold as food supplements to be marketed with health or medicinal claims, so the information on this page is limited to what each format is, how strengths are measured and what the current UK position on CBD is. CBD products on this site are sold to adults aged 18 and over.
Formats in this collection
CBD e-liquids
CBD e-liquid is made for use in a vape device in the same way as nicotine e-liquid. It is mixed on a PG and VG base with the CBD content stated as a total in milligrams per bottle. The Orange County 50ml bottles in this range are typical of the format. Never put an oral tincture in a vape device. Tinctures are oil based and oils are not made to be vaporised.
Pre-filled CBD pods and pod kits
A pre-filled CBD pod arrives sealed with the liquid already inside. A pod kit adds the rechargeable battery, so everything needed comes in one purchase. Replacement pods are sold separately once the kit is running. This is the simplest format if you have not used a vape device before, since there is nothing to fill or configure.
Oral tinctures
Tinctures are CBD suspended in a carrier oil and supplied in a dropper bottle. Strength is given as the total milligrams in the bottle, with the dropper used to take a measured amount by mouth. Tinctures are for oral use only.
Edibles
Edibles are pre-measured, which is their main practical advantage. Each piece states its own CBD content, so there is no measuring involved.
Body products
Balms, creams and similar topical products are applied to the skin rather than taken internally. Strength is stated as the total CBD in the container.
Full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate
Full spectrum contains CBD alongside the other compounds naturally present in hemp, within the limits UK law sets for controlled cannabinoids. It carries a recognisable hemp taste.
Broad spectrum keeps that wider profile of hemp compounds but has THC removed to non detectable levels.
Isolate is CBD on its own, refined away from the rest of the plant material. Isolate products such as the Darwin pods in this range carry no hemp flavour, which some people prefer.
Understanding CBD strengths
CBD is labelled by the total milligrams in the pack rather than by concentration, so a 750mg pod and a 300mg pod are telling you how much CBD the whole item holds. To compare two products fairly, divide the milligram total by the volume it is spread across. A 750mg figure in a small pod is a far higher concentration than the same figure in a 50ml bottle.
The UK position on CBD
CBD sold as a food, which includes oils, tinctures and edibles, falls under novel foods rules in Great Britain. Products must hold a validated application on the Food Standards Agency public list to be sold legally. The FSA advises healthy adults not to exceed 10mg of CBD a day, having revised its earlier guidance of 70mg a day in October 2023. That figure is precautionary advice rather than a legal limit. CBD e-liquids are regulated separately from food supplements. Controlled cannabinoids such as THC are subject to strict limits in any CBD product sold in the UK.
Choosing a format
Pick the format around how you want to use it rather than around the headline milligram figure. A pre-filled pod kit is the least involved option if you already vape. A tincture suits anyone who wants a measured oral amount from a dropper. Edibles remove measuring altogether. Body products are applied to the skin.
Storage and handling
Keep CBD products sealed, upright and away from direct sunlight and heat. Light and warmth degrade cannabinoids over time, which is why tinctures are supplied in dark glass. Store everything out of reach of children and pets.

CBD questions answered
What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is one of more than a hundred compounds found in the hemp plant. Unlike THC it is not a controlled substance in its own right in the UK, which is why CBD products can be sold to adults here. We make no medical or health claims about CBD.
What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate?
Full spectrum contains CBD together with the other compounds naturally present in hemp, within the legal limits for controlled cannabinoids. Broad spectrum keeps that wider profile with THC removed to non detectable levels. Isolate is purified CBD on its own, which means no hemp flavour at all.
How much CBD does the FSA say adults should take?
The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults not to exceed 10mg of CBD a day, revised down from its earlier 70mg figure in October 2023. That is precautionary guidance rather than a legal limit. We cannot give individual advice. Speak to a pharmacist or your GP first if you take prescription medication.
Can I vape a CBD oral tincture?
No. Tinctures are made with a carrier oil for oral use. Oils are not designed to be vaporised and should never be put into a vape device. If you want to vape CBD, use a CBD e-liquid or a pre-filled CBD pod, both of which are mixed on a PG and VG base.
What does a figure such as 750mg mean on a CBD product?
It is the total amount of CBD in the pack rather than a concentration. To compare products, divide that figure by the volume it is spread across. Seven hundred and fifty milligrams inside a small pod is far more concentrated than the same total spread through a 50ml bottle.
Is CBD legal in the UK?
CBD itself can be sold to adults in the UK. CBD consumed as a food, such as an oil, a tincture or an edible, falls under novel foods rules and must hold a validated application on the Food Standards Agency list. Controlled cannabinoids including THC are restricted by law in any product sold here.
Do I need to be 18 to buy CBD?
Yes. CBD products on this site are sold to adults aged 18 and over only and orders are age checked before dispatch. CBD is not intended for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Speak to a healthcare professional first if you take prescribed medication.
