Aspire Tanks & Rebuildables

Showing: 8 Results

Aspire Tanks & Rebuildables gathers the Aspire atomisers stocked at Vapestore Direct. The collection holds 10 products covering mouth to lung tanks and sub ohm tanks. Four are in stock at the time of writing: the Athos sub ohm tank at £9.99, the AF tank at £17.99 plus the Nautilus 3SR MTL tank and the Odan Mini sub ohm tank at £24.99 each.

Aspire has been making atomisers for as long as most UK vapers have been vaping. The Nautilus family in particular is one of the longest running mouth to lung tank lines on the market, which matters more than it first sounds. Coils for a long lived family stay easy to source years later, so the tank is unlikely to be stranded by a discontinued coil.

Mouth to lung against sub ohm

This is the decision everything else follows from. A mouth to lung tank uses tight airflow plus a coil above 1.0 ohm. You draw vapour into the mouth first then inhale, which is the sensation closest to a cigarette. It sips liquid slowly and pairs with 50/50 nic salts or freebase e-liquid at higher strengths. A sub ohm tank uses wide open airflow plus a coil below 1.0 ohm and is drawn straight into the lung. It produces far more vapour, gets through liquid quickly and wants high VG shortfills at 3mg to 6mg.

The MTL tanks stocked here

The Nautilus 3SR at £24.99 is the restricted mouth to lung option in the current range. The Aspire AF tank at £17.99 is the other mouth to lung choice. Both are built for low wattage use on a compact mod rather than a high output box.

The sub ohm tanks stocked here

The Odan Mini at £24.99 is the compact sub ohm option, sized to sit neatly on a smaller mod. The Athos at £9.99 is the larger, older format tank and by a distance the cheapest route into Aspire sub ohm vaping. Each takes its own coil family, so check which coil your tank uses before reordering.

What about rebuildables

The collection title covers rebuildables as well as tanks. In practice everything currently listed in the Aspire collection is a factory coil tank rather than an RTA, RDA or RDTA. If you want to build your own coils, the wider rebuildables sections of the store are where the build decks live. A rebuildable lets you wind your own coil and fit your own cotton, which cuts running costs to very little in exchange for a genuine learning curve.

Fitment, capacity and the 2ml rule

All of these tanks use a 510 thread, so they will fit any regulated 510 mod. Two checks are worth making before you buy. First, tank diameter against the top of your mod, since a wide tank on a narrow mod will overhang. Second, the wattage range, because a sub ohm tank asking for 60 watts needs a mod that can supply it. UK law also limits any tank sold with nicotine e-liquid to 2ml, which is why UK versions of larger tanks ship with a reduced capacity glass.

Coils, priming and flavour

Aspire coils are family specific. A Nautilus coil will not fit an Odan, so order by tank name rather than by resistance alone. Prime every new coil properly: wet the ports through the exposed cotton, fill the tank, then leave it standing five minutes before the first draw. Start at the low end of the wattage printed on the coil and work upwards until the flavour peaks. Sweet dessert liquids shorten coil life noticeably.

Buying Aspire tanks in the UK

Vaping hardware is sold to adults aged 18 and over and every order is age checked before dispatch. Free UK delivery applies on orders over £20. If you need to confirm which coil family your Aspire tank takes before ordering, call the team on 07827 210361 between 8.30am and 4.00pm.

Aspire tank questions answered

What is the difference between an MTL and a sub ohm Aspire tank?

An MTL tank has tight airflow and uses coils above 1.0 ohm, giving a restricted draw that feels closest to a cigarette. A sub ohm tank has wide open airflow and coils below 1.0 ohm for a direct to lung draw with much more vapour. The Nautilus 3SR and the AF tank are the MTL options here while the Odan Mini and the Athos are sub ohm.

Will an Aspire tank fit my mod?

All of these tanks use a standard 510 thread, so they will fit any regulated 510 mod. The two things to check are diameter and wattage. A tank wider than the top of your mod will overhang. A sub ohm tank that wants 60 watts needs a mod capable of delivering it. MTL tanks are far less demanding on both counts.

Are Aspire coils interchangeable between tanks?

No. Aspire coils are family specific, so a Nautilus coil will not fit an Odan and vice versa. Always order coils by the tank name rather than by resistance alone. It is the most common ordering mistake in this category.

Why is my Aspire tank limited to 2ml?

UK regulations limit any tank sold with nicotine e-liquid to 2ml, which is why UK versions of larger tanks are supplied with a reduced capacity glass. It applies to every brand sold here, not just Aspire. Sub ohm tanks get through that 2ml quickly, so keeping a bottle nearby is part of the routine.

How do I stop a new coil tasting burnt?

Prime it. Wet the exposed cotton through the ports on the side of the coil, screw it in, fill the tank, then leave it standing five minutes before the first draw. Start at the lower end of the printed wattage range as well. Firing a dry coil at full power for even a second or two will ruin it immediately.

Does this collection include rebuildable atomisers?

The category is named Tanks & Rebuildables. In practice everything currently in stock in the Aspire collection is a factory coil tank rather than an RTA, RDA or RDTA. If you are looking for a build deck, the wider rebuildables sections of the store are the place to look.
