Innokin
Innokin is one of the hardware names UK vapers keep coming back to. This collection holds 170 Innokin products covering kits, mods, tanks, coils and spares. The range spans the Endura pen and pod line, the Coolfire box mods, the Zenith family of mouth to lung tanks and the rebuildable Ares atomisers, with prices opening at £2.49 for drip tips and £4.99 for replacement coils.
Innokin has built its reputation on restricted mouth to lung hardware rather than cloud chasing. Its tanks and coils are tuned for a tight cigarette style draw, its batteries tend to be understated rather than flashy and its coil families stay in production for years. That last point matters more than any spec sheet, because a device is only as good as your ability to buy coils for it in eighteen months time.
The Innokin ranges explained
Endura pens and pod kits
Endura is the beginner line. The Endura T18E Pen Kit and Endura T22E Kit are simple tube devices with a single fire button, a fixed output and a tank that unscrews for filling. There is no wattage to set and no menu to learn. The Endura T22 Pro Kit adds the T18e Pro tank with adjustable airflow for vapers who want to tighten or loosen the draw. All of them run above 1.0 ohm on a mouth to lung inhale, which is the draw style closest to a cigarette.
Coolfire mods and kits
Coolfire is the box mod line. The Coolfire Z60 Kit pairs a compact 60W chipset with a Zenith tank, giving you variable wattage and a fuller feature set without stepping into 200W territory. The Ez.Watt Battery Mod sits below it as a plain, low cost regulated body for anyone who already owns a 510 tank.
Zenith tanks and Z coils
The Zenith is the tank Innokin is best known for. It is a top filling mouth to lung tank with a stepped airflow ring that runs from an extremely tight draw to a loose restricted lung hit. The Z coil family covers it. The same coils fit across several Zenith generations, so an older tank is rarely stranded. Zenith Replacement Z Coils are stocked here alongside T18E Replacement Coils for the Endura pens.
Rebuildables and specialist kits
The Ares Finale RTA is a rebuildable tank atomiser aimed at experienced vapers who build their own coils and wick them by hand. The Sidera Zenith M Side By Side Kit runs an Evolv DNA60C chip, which brings proper temperature control and device profiling to the range. Both sit at the technical end of the catalogue and neither is a sensible first purchase.
Mouth to lung or direct to lung on Innokin hardware
Mouth to lung, shortened to MTL, means drawing vapour into your mouth first then inhaling it. The draw is tight, the vapour is modest and the nicotine hit arrives quickly. This is where most of the Innokin catalogue lives. Direct to lung vaping, also called DTL, means pulling vapour straight into the lungs through an open airflow at higher wattage. Innokin builds fewer DTL devices, though the Zenith airflow ring will open far enough for a restricted lung draw if you want it.
The practical consequence is nicotine strength. An MTL Innokin device paired with a 10ml nic salt at 10mg or 20mg suits an adult switching from cigarettes. A restricted lung setup consumes far more liquid per puff, so drop to 3mg or 6mg from a shortfill instead.
Choosing an Innokin kit
New to vaping. An Endura pen or pod kit. Fixed output, one button, no settings to get wrong and coils that are cheap and easy to find.
Six months in. A Coolfire kit or the Gozee. Variable wattage and adjustable airflow give you room to tune flavour without changing hardware.
Already own a tank. The Ez.Watt or a Coolfire mod on its own. Both take standard 510 atomisers.
Building your own coils. The Ares Finale RTA. Take it on only if you are confident with Ohm's law, wire and battery safety.
Coils, wattage and getting the flavour right
Coil resistance dictates almost everything. Innokin coils above 1.0 ohm are MTL coils, run at roughly 10W to 15W and want a balanced 50/50 PG to VG liquid. Z coils in the 0.5 ohm to 0.8 ohm bracket sit in restricted lung territory, run at 18W to 30W and prefer a slightly thicker blend. Each coil is printed with a recommended wattage range. Starting at the bottom of that range and creeping up two watts at a time is the fastest way to find the sweet spot without scorching the cotton.
Priming is the step people skip. Wet the exposed cotton through the ports, fit the coil, fill the tank then leave it standing for five minutes before the first draw. A dry first puff will taste burnt for the life of that coil.
Coil availability and running costs
The device is a one off outlay. Coils, pods and e-liquid are the recurring cost and they will overtake the price of the kit within a couple of months. Innokin coils are widely stocked in the UK and the Z family in particular has survived several product generations, which makes an Innokin device a sounder long term bet than hardware built around a coil that is discontinued after a year.
Batteries and charging
Endura pens carry integrated batteries in the 1000mAh to 2000mAh range, which is comfortably a day of MTL vaping for most people. Coolfire mods offer more capacity and more output. Some models in the wider Innokin line take removable 18650 cells so you can carry a charged spare. USB-C charging has replaced micro USB across the newer releases. Charge from the mains through a proper adapter and keep spare cells in a plastic case rather than loose in a pocket.
Buying Innokin hardware in the UK
Vaping products may only be sold to adults aged 18 and over. Tanks sold with nicotine containing e-liquid are limited to 2ml capacity under UK regulations, which is why Innokin tanks intended for the UK market ship in a 2ml version. Nicotine e-liquid is capped at 20mg per ml in bottles of no more than 10ml. Single use vapes have been prohibited from sale in the UK since 1 June 2025, so every Innokin device listed here is rechargeable with replaceable coils.
Delivery and support
UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and orders placed on working days are dispatched quickly. If you need to confirm which coil fits the Innokin tank you already own, the team is on 07827 210361 between 8.30am and 4.00pm.
Common Innokin questions
Which Innokin kit is best for a beginner?
The Endura line is built for exactly this. The Endura T18E Pen Kit and Endura T22E Kit have a single fire button, a fixed output and a tank that unscrews to fill, so there is nothing to configure. Both use a tight mouth to lung draw that feels closer to a cigarette than a big cloud device, which is what most adults switching from smoking are looking for.
What coils fit the Innokin Zenith tank?
Zenith tanks use the Innokin Z coil family. The same coils carry across several Zenith generations, so an older tank is rarely left without spares. Check the resistance printed on the coil rather than the name on the box. Coils above 1.0 ohm are mouth to lung coils for low wattage, while 0.5 ohm to 0.8 ohm coils are for a looser restricted lung draw at higher power.
How often do Innokin coils need replacing?
One to two weeks is typical. Sweet, dark or dessert e-liquids shorten it considerably because the sucralose in them caramelises onto the wire. You will know it is time when the flavour turns dull or burnt, vapour output drops or the draw feels harsh. Priming a new coil and leaving it for five minutes before the first puff makes a real difference to how long it lasts.
What is the difference between the Endura and Coolfire ranges?
Endura is the simple end of the catalogue. Fixed output, one button, minimal setup and low running costs. Coolfire is the regulated box mod line with variable wattage, larger batteries and a screen, aimed at vapers who want to tune power to the coil. If you have never vaped before, start on Endura. If you have been vaping a few months and want more control, look at Coolfire.
What wattage should I run an Innokin coil at?
Every Innokin coil is printed with a recommended range and the safest approach is to start at the bottom of it. Move up two watts at a time until the flavour is full without any hint of scorching. A 1.6 ohm mouth to lung coil usually sits around 10W to 14W. A 0.8 ohm coil is generally happy in the high teens to low twenties.
Can I use an Innokin tank on a different mod?
Yes in most cases. Innokin tanks use the standard 510 threaded connection found on almost every regulated mod, so a Zenith will screw onto a third party device without an adapter. The only things to check are the diameter against the top plate of your mod so it does not overhang and whether your mod can deliver the wattage the coil wants.
What nicotine strength suits an Innokin device?
For a mouth to lung Endura or Zenith setup, a 10ml nic salt at 10mg or 20mg is the usual choice, with 20mg suiting adults coming off a heavier cigarette habit. UK law caps nicotine e-liquid at 20mg per ml. If you open the airflow for a restricted lung draw, drop to 3mg or 6mg from a shortfill because the vapour volume is much higher.
Do Innokin kits come with everything I need?
A kit includes the device, the tank or pod and normally one or two coils plus a charging cable. E-liquid is bought separately, as is a spare coil pack, which is worth adding to a first order so you are not stuck when the supplied coil wears out. Check the individual product page for the exact box contents before ordering.
Is delivery free and do I need to be 18?
UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and working day orders are dispatched quickly. It is illegal to sell vaping products to anyone under 18 in the UK, so orders are age verified before dispatch and identification may be requested.
