Nicotine strength and the shortfill maths
UK law caps nicotine e-liquid at 20mg per ml and caps any bottle containing nicotine at 10ml. That is the entire reason shortfills exist. They are sold with no nicotine in them at all, which allows a much larger bottle, then you add the nicotine yourself at the point of use.

Why sweet e-liquids are hard on coils
The sweetness in almost all of these liquids comes from sucralose. Sucralose does not fully vaporise. You can slow it down. Prime a new coil properly by soaking every wick port, filling the tank and then leaving it standing five minutes before the first draw.
