Nicotine strength and the shortfill maths
UK law caps nicotine e-liquid at 20mg per ml and limits any bottle containing nicotine to 10ml. Shortfills exist to work within that. They are sold containing no nicotine at all, which allows the larger bottle, then you add the nicotine yourself.
In a pod kit, 20mg nic salt suits a heavier previous smoker, 10mg a lighter one and 5mg or 6mg anyone stepping down. In a sub ohm setup 3mg is the standard because the vapour volume per puff is so much greater. Two 18mg shots in a 100ml shortfill give 3mg across the finished 120ml.
