Working out your nicotine shots
Nicotine shots are 10ml bottles of unflavoured nicotine, normally 18mg per ml in a high VG base. Two shots emptied into a 100ml shortfill give you 120ml of finished liquid at roughly 3mg per ml. One shot gives you 110ml at roughly 1.6mg per ml. Going higher than 3mg means decanting some of the shortfill first, because the bottle has no headroom for a third shot.

High VG shortfills are built for coils below 1.0 ohm. That means a sub ohm tank, a mesh pod kit rated for direct to lung use or a box mod with a dedicated tank. Thick liquid struggles to wick through a tight mouth to lung coil above 1.0 ohm. The usual result is a dry hit and a ruined coil.
At around 3mg per ml the finished strength is deliberately low. Sub ohm devices vaporise several times more liquid per puff than an MTL pen, so a low strength still delivers plenty of nicotine.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the cap tight and keep bottles out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Light and warmth are what turn a clear liquid amber and flatten the top notes. Store every bottle well out of reach of children and pets.

Will a Bazooka shortfill work in my pod kit?
That depends on the coil rather than the kit. Anything below 1.0 ohm running on open direct to lung airflow will handle a high VG shortfill well. Tight mouth to lung coils above 1.0 ohm cannot wick liquid this thick fast enough and will taste burnt within a few puffs. Use a 50/50 10ml nic salt in an MTL device instead.
Do I need to steep Bazooka shortfills?
Not usually. Fruit and candy blends like these are ready to vape as soon as the nicotine shot has been mixed in properly. If a bottle tastes a little flat you can leave it somewhere cool and dark for three to five days and shake it daily.
